Citizenship & Residency

reis-malheiro---lisbon-2

We've done this thousands of times. We'll do it right for you.

Our nationality team has handled thousands of cases — for descendants or spouses of Portuguese nationals, Portuguese citizens born in the former Portuguese territories (Goa, Daman, Diu, Timor, Angola, Mozambique, Cape Verde, Sao Tome e Principe, Macao), and individuals seeking European citizenship through legal residence.

Portuguese citizenship means more than a passport. It means:

Freedom of movement — live, work and travel across all 27 EU member states, with visa-free access to the USA, Brazil, the UAE and over 180 countries worldwide.

The right to build — open a business, buy property or establish yourself in any EU country with the same rights as a local citizen.

Access to education — enrol in European universities at domestic tuition rates, for yourself and your children.

Security and stability — a European legal status that protects you and your family regardless of where in the world you choose to live.

If you think you may qualify — or if you’re not sure — talk to us. We’ll tell you clearly where you stand.
